Q1: What is a Military Fare (discount)?
A: Military members are often given special fares by the travel industry. There are no set standards for these fares or the availability of them. Most flights have a limited number of military fares available.

Q2: How does MilitaryToGo.com find these fares?
A: MTG uses unique process that searches the airline reservation systems for military fares.

Q4: Why do you charge a $22.50 service fee?
A: The service fee allows MTG to access military fares and offer them to you. If you decide to use one of our travel agents to book your flight additional fees may apply.

Q5: What if there is not a military fare available?
A: If there is not a military fare available for that particular flight MTG will search for the next lowest fare.

Q6: Can I find cheaper fares on other sites?
A: Since MTG doesn’t control the pricing of the tickets there are many instances that cheaper fares may be found on other sites. The availability of military fares is controlled by the airlines and the timing of your search. REMEMBER: MTG is the only site that actually looks for the military fare.

Q7: Do I need to enter a credit card to search for fares?
A: No. You may search as much as you would like without obligation.

Q8: How do I receive my ticket?
A: Most tickets are E-Tickets, which will be emailed to you. In the case of a ticket that must be issued as a paper ticket someone will contact you.

Q9: Is MTG an affiliate of the DOD?
A: No. We have no direct affiliate with the DOD.

Q10: Can my spouse and children use your service?
A: Yes. Just make sure they have some type of military identification, i.e. dependent military id. Typically only the parent will need to have the id.
Q11: Can I Change the times and dates of my tickets
A: Yes. There are different rules and fees associated with Making changes to your ticket.
